IQNA – Malaak Humaidan, a 24-year-old visually impaired girl from the village of Hableh in southern Qalqilya, Palestine, has achieved a remarkable milestone by reciting the entire Quran from memory in just five hours.

This accomplishment makes her the first among 41 Quran memorizers in her program to achieve such a feat.

Speaking to Al Jazeera, Humaidan shared her emotions during the recital, saying, "No words can describe how I felt when I completed the Quran. By the 25th Juz, I was in tears, overwhelmed with disbelief at what I had accomplished."

Despite the challenges posed by her visual impairment, Humaidan emphasized that she encountered no significant difficulties, crediting her faith and determination.

"God made the path easy for me," she explained, noting that years of effort and divine support enabled her to commit the entire Quran to her memory.

Her parents played a pivotal role in her success, offering consistent encouragement and support. "Whenever I felt like giving up, my father would remind me of the importance of perseverance, urging me to continue on this journey," she said.

Humaidan also advised others struggling with Quran memorization to adopt a steady approach, suggesting, "Start with one verse a day and build from there."
